My new ride – Mitsubishi Lancer 2.0 GT

Phew, quite busy with all the projects lately, don’t even have time to post about my new ride.

Well, just 1 week before this year Hari Raya, i managed to get a new ride, not even think twice. My original target was Evo 7, fits with my budget, but due to consideration on age and wear + tear, i decided to back off after several failed attempt on searching the right one.

This ride, spotted on Zerotohundred forum. Age 10 months with 26K mileage, I gave it a shot. Meet with the owner, a Chinese guy which also work in continental car sales, the car was marvelous, the current owner was a very fussy guy to the guy, i hardly notice even small scratch on the exterior, whats more a dust on the interior, car was parked under shade for almost the time. Take a test ride with owner, car feels a bit heavy on the low RPM, but that can be managed as I know its due to pulley weight, can opt for LCP. Asked the owner to gave me a bit time till evening for me to think, and we agreed. Back to the office, I ask my GF opinion about the car, she said OK, I then asked my colleagues, they all said OK, so I called the owner immediately and said OK, deal done. Meet the owner in the evening to negotiate the final price and he let it go for 102K, which is for me, a really bargain price, I straight away pay the downpayment.

All the finalization took about 1 week, JPJ, Puspakom, bank loan. Just 2 days before I make my trip to Balik Kampung, I finally get my hand on her. 2.0cc, paddle shift, nice body, what more can you expect than a chicks magnet and head turner? I’m a happy guy now.
